Please Help Us Support Injured Workers in Our Community

I’m reaching out on behalf of the London Injured Workers Support Group, a volunteer-run nonprofit, dedicated to assisting injured workers and their families as they navigate WSIB claims (from denials to return-to-work and transition programs).

Many of the people we support face severe financial hardship due to denied claims, often putting them at risk of losing their homes, vehicles, and stability. Our office serves as a safe, welcoming space where they can find guidance, resources, and relief from the stress they endure.

We are currently organizing a fundraising event to enhance this space and create a more supportive environment where injured workers can enjoy refreshments, find respite, and feel supported within our community— without judgment. To make this possible, we’re seeking donations such as gift certificates, event passes, or other small contributions that we could sell at an event. Money raised will help us improve this environment and make visitors feel welcome.

Your support, no matter the size, can make a meaningful difference. If your company is able to contribute, we would be deeply grateful.

We are planning to have a silent auction with the ability to sell some other donated items. At this point, we are seeking donated items in order to better guide us with what option(s) will work best. It will be held in our office at 1717 Oxford Street East, Unit 1., with the expected date of Aug 16th, 2025, from 8am to 1 pm.

Drop off items to our Oxford address is preferred during regular business hours. (9AM to 4 PM Mon to Thurs), pickup can be arranged if required. 

Donations will be accepted until Aug 09, 2025, to allow for processing of items.
