While in the course of your employment you require medical care for an injury, the result of a single unintended event.
You suffer a disablement:
While in the course of your employment you require medical attention for an injury that has developed over time, due to the nature of the work you do.
You suffer an occupational disease:
You are diagnosed with a disease or illness that has a link to an exposure in your workplace.
Noise induced hearing loss:
You suffer a permanent hearing loss, the result of being exposed to high levels of noise over a long period of time.
You suffer a psychological condition:
If you experience a psychological condition such as depression or anxiety that is linked to an accepted workplace accident, you can request recognition of the condition.
